Terms of Service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Trackit, the bookkeeping and mini-ERP product built by StatHub ("Trackit," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Trackit, you agree to them. If you're creating an account on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to do so and these terms apply to that business too.
1. What Trackit is
Trackit is software for recording sales, purchases, expenses, inventory, and other bookkeeping records for a business, and for generating reports and documents (receipts, invoices) from that data. It is not accounting, tax, or legal advice, and we are not your accountant. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for meeting your own tax and regulatory obligations.
2. Accounts and staff access
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you're a business owner, you can invite staff with limited roles (attendant, manager); you're responsible for who you invite and what access you give them. We may ask you to verify your identity or your email address before giving you access.
3. Your data
Everything you record in Trackit — sales, products, customers, financial records — belongs to you or your business, not to us. We store it to provide the service; see our Privacy Policy for how. Trackit deliberately never silently deletes financial records — mistakes are corrected by reversal (a voided sale, for example, stays visible with its correction), not by erasing history — so your books stay auditable. You can still permanently delete your own account and, where you're the sole member of a business, that business's data, from Settings; that action can't be undone.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Trackit to store data you don't have the right to store, to attempt to access another business's data, to interfere with the service, or to use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate this.
5. Fees
Trackit is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll give existing users reasonable notice before any change that affects them, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
6. Availability and warranty
We work to keep Trackit available and your data safe, but we provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Trackit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Termination
You can stop using Trackit and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Trackit evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
